Embark on an exciting opportunity as a travel Social Worker in Alaska, starting on 3/25/2024. This role, located in a clinic, requires expertise in clinical therapy services, particularly in individual and group therapy. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Practical Counselor (LPC), you will contribute to outpatient behavioral health services with a focus on adult behavioral and substance use disorder (SUD/MAT) outpatient clients. Working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Alaska Standard Time, this position offers a 40-hour workweek within a 13 to 26-week contract. You will engage with a diverse patient population, conducting 6-8 patients per shift and providing a range of therapeutic services. The facility, known for its integrated care approach, combines primary care with behavioral health cases. Daily tasks involve group and individual therapy sessions, medication management, bubble capping as needed, injections, observations, and med pass.
