Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Location: Texas
Type of Facility: Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible between these time frames)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Float between inpatient, outpatient, and cardiac lab settings
- Perform nuclear medicine and PET CT scans on adult patients
- Handle 8-9 PET patients per day
- Manage 15-20 patients per day in the cardiac clinic
- Process 4-8 outpatients per day in the hospital setting
- Operate various equipment including GE Omni 32, Symbia Evo, Siemens E Cam, and Phillips Brightview
- Work independently 80% of the time
- Collaborate with a team of 4 other technologists
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
- Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule and assignments
Requirements:
- Texas licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- NMTCB certification (PET certification not required)
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and patient loads
- Experience with multiple imaging systems and EMR software
