Job Description

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Location: Mississippi

Type of Facility: Short-term Acute Care Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform nuclear medicine procedures for patients of all ages

- Manage patient schedules and order necessary medicines

- Operate and maintain various radiologic equipment, including nuclear medicine devices

- Work independently and efficiently, handling 5-6 patients per shift maximum

- Utilize the Soarian EMR system

- Collaborate with a diverse team including radiologists, intensivists, and other imaging technologists

- Adapt to working in a facility equipped with MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, DEXA scan, 3D mammography, and routine X-ray machines

- Assist with PET scans when the portable unit is scheduled


Requirements:

- NMTCB or ARRT(CNMT) certification

- BLS certification

- 1-3 years of experience

- Ability to obtain Mississippi state license (4 weeks processing time)
