Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Location: Arizona
Type of Facility: Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Alternating weeks of 36 hours and 48 hours, 8 AM - 8 PM shifts
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform general X-ray procedures as the primary duty
- Provide CT services when needed, particularly to cover for absent staff
- Work with a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Manage a patient ratio of 12-15 patients
- Operate GE equipment, including the GE Revolution 64 slice CT scanner
- Utilize the RPMS electronic medical record system
- Collaborate with other technologists and healthcare professionals
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines
Requirements:
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
- Current BLS certification
- Active Arizona state license
- Experience with GE imaging equipment, especially the GE Revolution 64 slice CT scanner
