Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Location: Washington
Type of Facility: 32-bed Critical Access Hospital
Length of Assignment: 3 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of ultrasound exams including GYN, general, abdominal, BVT, extremities, pelvic, testicular, thyroid, carotid, and other specialized scans
- Work independently after initial training period
- Operate GE Logic E9 ultrasound equipment
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation
- Handle 4-5 patients per shift
- Collaborate with lead sonographer during initial training days
- Adapt to working in a small hospital environment
Requirements:
- ARDMS certification (abdomen specialty at minimum)
- Current BLS certification
- 3-5 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
