Sleep Technologist – Maryland

Job Description

Job Title: Sleep Technologist

Job Location: Maryland

Type of Facility: Sleep Center

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 10-hour night shifts, 8pm-6am, for 4 nights per week

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct sleep studies primarily on adult patients

- Maintain a patient ratio of 3:1, or 2:1 for pediatric patients

- Utilize Sandman Sleep software for sleep study analysis

- Learn and use Somnoware system (training provided if needed)

- Collaborate with one other technologist during shifts

- Perform sleep measurements on patients

- Adapt to the facility's specific procedures and equipment

- Maintain high standards of patient care and professionalism

- Potential for overtime as needed

Requirements:

- RPSGT certification

- Maryland state license

- Minimum of 2 years of experience

- Ability to work night shifts

- Experience with adult and potentially pediatric patients
