Job Description

Job Title: Primary Care Nurse

Job Location: North Dakota

Length of Assignment: 13-26 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, plus Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Urology clinic)


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform urology procedures including insertion and removal of indwelling and suprapubic catheters

- Assist in cardiology clinic, including EKG procedures and stress testing

- Room patients and manage referrals and messages

- Float to various departments as needed, providing support in different clinical areas

- Assist with Interventional Radiology phone calls and provider referrals

- Support ENT clinic with administrative tasks when needed

- Perform EKGs and interpret rhythm strips

- Operate equipment including EKG machines, vital sign monitors, and Holter monitors


Requirements:

- Current North Dakota nursing license or compact license

- ACLS certification

- Minimum 1 year of basic hospital nursing experience

- Ability to read rhythm strips and perform EKGs

- Flexibility to float between departments as needed
