Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Job Location: Florida
Type of Facility: Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic
Length of Assignment: 13-26 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm, Friday 7:30am-12:30pm
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide orthopedic outpatient physical therapy services, with a focus on post-operative care and manual therapy
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop treatment plans based on physician orders
- Deliver 1:1 patient care with 45-minute treatments and 1-hour evaluations
- Treat a diverse patient population, primarily adults, with various orthopedic conditions
- Collaborate with a team of physicians specializing in orthopedics, sports medicine, and spine care
- Utilize manual therapy techniques, including dry needling (experience preferred)
- Manage a caseload of 10-15 patients per day
- Document patient care using Athena EMR system
- Work independently to execute treatment plans and manage patient schedules
- Adapt to floating between clinic locations as needed
Requirements:
- Active Florida PT license
- BLS and CPR certifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed PT
- Strong background in orthopedic and outpatient care
