MRI Technologist – Texas

Job Description

Job Title: MRI Technologist

Job Location: Texas

Type of Facility: Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Early April

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM shifts, with some potential call coverage

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive MRI scans including Neuro, Ortho, MSK, Breast, and GI imaging

- Operate Siemens Avanto and GE Signa MRI equipment

- Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality

- Conduct approximately 8-10 scheduled MRI exams per day

- Perform venipuncture as needed for contrast administration

- Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR system

- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals

- Float to alternate MRI departments within the hospital as needed

- Participate in on-call rotations (schedule to be determined)

Requirements:

- Active Texas Medical Board license

- ARRT(MR) certification

- Texas GMRT certification

- Current BLS certification

- Minimum 1 year of experience in MRI technology

- Venipuncture skills
