Job Description
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Location: Louisiana
Type of Facility: Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Early April
Work Schedule: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM weekday shifts
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans for a variety of medical conditions including:
- Trauma cases
- Stroke/perfusion imaging
- Cardiac MRI
- Breast imaging
- Neurological scans
- Body scans
- Musculoskeletal imaging
- Angiography
- Work with patients of all age groups
- Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment
- Follow safety protocols for MRI procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR system
Requirements:
- Active Louisiana state license
- ARRT certification in MRI or Radiography
- Current BCLS/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience
