Travel Medical Surgical Nurse (MedSurg) - North Carolina

Barton has partnered with a Hospital located in NC that has requested 6 weeks of coverage from a travel Medical Surgical Nurse (MedSurg) starting in late September. For this travel assignment, the selected Medical Surgical Nurse (MedSurg) should able to work Fri, Sat, and Sun from 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM and be comfortable with:

Job Details:

Position: Travel Medical Surgical Nurse (MedSurg)

Location: North Carolina

Duration: 6 weeks

Start Date: 9/27/24

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM (36 hours guaranteed)

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS required

• North Carolina or compact license

Responsibilities:

• Handle COPD, cellulitis, detox, diabetes, and wound care cases

• Minimal surgical patient responsibilities

• Float to ED and psych inpatient

Facility Details:

• Patient population: Adults, minimal pediatrics

• Patient ratio: 4/5:1
