Medical Surgical Nurse (MedSurg) – Mississippi

Job Description

Job Details:

Start Date: Immediately

Duration: 13 weeks with potential for extension

Schedule: 12 hour night shifts for 3 nights per week (7pm-7am)

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience (1.5 years also considered)

• ACLS and BLS certifications

• Compact nursing license

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for 6 patients per shift

• Administer medications and monitor vital signs

• Manage patients with pneumonia and on antibiotics

• Care for post-surgery patients (general and orthopedic)

• Handle occasional IV drips
