Job Description

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse

Job Location: California

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 12 hour shifts (7a - 7:30p) for 3 days per week, with a 6 on/8 off rotation

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive care throughout the entire birthing process in LDRP setting

- Manage approximately 30 deliveries per month

- Assist in labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care

- Start IVs for newborns as needed

- Collaborate with a team of 2 RNs and 1-2 Respiratory Therapists

- Potential to float to nursery and postpartum units (previous experience required)

Requirements:

- 2+ years of LDRP nursing experience

- Valid California RN license

- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP

- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
