Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech

Job Location: South Carolina

Type of Facility: Medical Imaging Department

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Mid-November

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM with Call Rotation

Barton Healthcare Staffing is working with a client to fill an exciting travel Interventional Radiology Tech position in South Carolina. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to patient care in various medical imaging departments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform moderate sedation in all Imaging departments (CT, MRI, US, Radiology, Interventional Radiology)

- Work in a rotating schedule across all departments within Medical Imaging

- Utilize Meditech EMR system for patient documentation

- Participate in on-call rotation as required

- Collaborate with the medical imaging team to ensure high-quality patient care

- Assist in patient positioning and preparation for various imaging procedures

- Maintain and operate imaging equipment according to facility standards

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Tech. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, along with graduation from an NLN accredited school of nursing. A valid South Carolina state license is necessary.
