Emergency Room Nurse (ER) – Washington

Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: Mid December

Schedule: 6 on, 8 off; Thursday to Tuesday, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Provide direct patient care and supervise ancillary personnel

• Conduct patient education and coordinate care with the healthcare team

• Float to other departments as needed, including Critical Care Unit (CCU)

Requirements:

• Active Washington nursing license

• 2+ years of ER experience

• Certifications required: ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NIHSS, emergency service index training

Additional Information:

• Facility has a 9-bed emergency department

• Patient population includes all ages with a ratio of 1 nurse to 4 patients

• EMR System: Cerner
