Job Description

Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Location: Illinois

Type of Facility: 160-bed Community Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 10 or 12-hour night shifts (9 PM - 7:30 AM or 11 PM - 7:30 AM)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform CT scans efficiently in a moderate-paced environment 

- Operate Canon 64 slice and 16 slice CT scanners

- Work collaboratively with one other CT tech during mid shifts

- Float between 2 locations as needed

- Handle primarily young adults to geriatric patients

- Start IVs for outpatient procedures until night shift begins

- Conduct approximately 100 exams over a 20-hour period

Requirements:

- ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications

- Active Illinois state license

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist

- IV insertion skills required
