Job Description

Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Location: Illinois

Type of Facility: Level I Trauma and Stroke Center, 200+ beds

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 10 or 12-hour shifts (3 PM - 11:30 PM or 1 PM - 9:30 PM)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform CT scans efficiently in a high-volume environment (approximately 100 exams over 20 hours)

- Operate Canon 64 slice and 80 slice CT scanners

- Work collaboratively with one other CT tech during shifts

- Float between 2 locations needed

- Handle primarily young adults to geriatric patients

- Start IVs for outpatient procedures during day shifts

Requirements:

- ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications

- Active Illinois state license

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

- IV insertion skills required
