Job Description
Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Job Location: Texas
Type of Facility: Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts), with on-call requirements of 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of procedures including Cardiac, Interventional Radiology (IR), Vascular, Electrophysiology (EP), and Neuro cases
- Scrub, pan, and circulate in interventional procedures (for Rad Techs)
- Monitor patients during procedures (preferred but not required)
- Assist in circulating, monitoring, and administering conscious sedation (for RNs)
- Provide care for critically ill patients
- Operate Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with the cath lab team in a 3-room suite
- Demonstrate strong clinical skills to handle diverse procedures and patients
Requirements:
- Valid Texas state license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year cath lab experience
- Experience in Cath Lab, IR/Vascular Lab, and Electrophysiology procedures
