Job Description

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech

Job Location: California

Type of Facility: Hospital Catheterization Laboratory

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM shifts with some occasional call coverage

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform circulating nurse duties in the Cath Lab

- Assist with left/right heart catheterizations, angioplasty/stent procedures

- Support IVUS, ICE, and atherectomy procedures

- Participate in Atrial Fibrillation Ablations, Micra implants, ICDs, pacemakers, and lead extractions

- Assist in Structural Heart procedures including TAVR, TMVR, Tricuspid, LAAC (Watchman), and PFO/ASD

- Provide scrub assistance as needed

- Collaborate with Rad Techs and other team members

- Potentially assist in the Cardiovascular Observation Unit (Pre/Post care area)

- Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR system

- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

- Adhere to all hospital policies and radiation safety protocols

Requirements:

- Active California state License

- Registered Radiologic Technologist License with Fluoroscopy permit

- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience

- Experience with a wide range of cardiac procedures
