Job Description

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech

Job Location: California

Type of Facility: Hospital with Cath Lab

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Mid April

Work Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM shifts 

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform left and right heart catheterizations, angioplasty/stent procedures

- Assist with IVUS, ICE, and atherectomy procedures

- Support Atrial Fibrillation Ablations, Micra ICDs, pacemakers, and lead extractions

- Participate in Structural Heart procedures including TAVR, TMVR, Tricuspid, and LAAC (Watchman)

- Conduct PFO/ASD closures

- Serve as Cath Lab Circulator (RN) when needed

- Provide scrub assistance during procedures

- Operate GE and Philips labs, Mac Lab/Cardiolab equipment

- Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation

- Collaborate with a team of 3 staff members per room

- Potentially assist in the Cardiovascular Observation Unit for pre/post care

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience

- Registered Radiologic Technologist License with Fluoroscopy permit

- Registered Nurse License for Circulator role

- Proficiency in all listed day-to-day responsibilities

- Ability to work one weekend per month and one night call per week
