Job Description

Job Title: Audiologist

Job Location: Washington State

Type of Facility: Therapy and Audiology Clinic (adjacent to main hospital)

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks +

Start Date: The beginning of December


Roles and Responsibilities:


We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at our Therapy and Audiology Clinic in Washington. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience and be able to provide comprehensive audiology services to patients ranging from infants to geriatrics.


Key Responsibilities:

- Provide audiology services including evaluations, counseling, and selection and fitting of hearing aids

- Assess, diagnose, treat, and help prevent disorders related to hearing and balance

- Adjust fitted products as needed to meet quality standards and address patient concerns

- Regularly report on activity status, patient performance, and initiatives for patient retention and development

- Manage a caseload of 8-9 patients per day

- Utilize Cerner EMR system for patient documentation


Requirements:

- Au.D. degree

- Washington state license (or ability to obtain within 2 months)

- Provider certification for hearing aids (preferred by some insurances)

- Proficiency with otoscope and other audiology equipment


Schedule:

- Monday to Friday, either 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts

- 40 hours per week
