Job Description

Job Title: Audiologist

Job Location: Massachusetts

Type of Facility: Outpatient Ear, Nose, and Throat Center

Length of Assignment: 26 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and manage hearing, balance, and tinnitus disorders

- Interpret behavioral and objective test results

- Counsel patients on hearing health and treatment options

- Assess candidacy for hearing aids and cochlear implants

- Provide audiologic rehabilitation

- Screen for communication disorders

- Perform otoscopic examinations and ear-related procedures

- Counsel patients and families on psychosocial aspects of hearing loss

- Educate public on hearing loss prevention and related issues

- Conduct up to 22 hearing tests per day, scheduled every 20 minutes


Requirements:

- Master's Degree in Audiology (AuD not required)

- Massachusetts state license

- Hearing Aid fitting experience

- Experience with Epic EMR system

- Proficiency in using Odom Metrics equipment
