Job Description

A school in Massachusetts is looking for a registered nurse to assist with a coverage need starting in early December. The school needs an RN who can provide a minimum of 3 hours of coverage per day, but is willing to offer a full time position. The school hours are 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. This is a day and residential, co-educational special education school serving students with a range of psychiatric, social, emotional, executive function, and learning challenges. Individuals with these challenges may carry diagnostic labels that include: depression; bipolar disorder; Autism Spectrum Disorder, attention-deficit disorder; post-traumatic stress disorder; reactive attachment disorder; and childhood schizophrenia. There are about 100 students in the school, K-12. There are also two other nurses in the school.
