Job Description
An LTC facility in New York is looking for a respiratory therapist who is available to assist with a coverage need starting in mid December. The facility needs an RT who can work three 12 hour shifts, 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., for a total of 36 hours per week. The clinician will be working in a vent unit that currently has 20 ventilated patients. The clinician will also treat patients in other units with CPAP or BiPAP issues and handle any emergency codes that come in. Responsibilities will include vent checks, med administration, trach tube change, some bed side assessment, and some vent weaning
