Job Description

A California hospital is looking for multiple respiratory therapists to assist with immediate coverage needs. The hospital is looking for RTs who can work 12 hour shifts, days or nights. The RTs will be responsible for administering respiratory care, including, but not limited to, metered dose inhalers, hand held nebulizers, various oxygen therapy devices, chest physiotherapy, nasal, oral, & tracheal suctioning, mechanical ventilation set-up and maintenance, stabilizing & maintaining artificial airways, and instructing patients in effective cough & breathing techniques. Other duties will include arterial punctures, arterial line draws, and blood gas analysis.
