Job Description

A North Dakota hospital is in need of a registered nurse who is available for an immediate coverage need. This facility schedules their clinicians to work 3 weeks of day shifts (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.) followed by 3 weeks of night shifts (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.). They will also look at any clinicians who can just work nights. This is a 25 bed critical access facility with a 1:5 patient ratio. The isolated COVID unit is up to 12 beds with the capacity to expand to 16. This facility's ER sees 80-90% urgent care cases (coughs, colds, strep, etc.), but will occasionally see fractures and lacerations. Most acute cases will be shipped out. This position may include clinical responsibilities described as High Risk or Very High Risk of exposure to COVID-19 by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
